I've lived both sides.
I was the rising star who couldn't say no. I moved fast, moved up, and paid for it with my health, my family, and my sanity. Turns out the thing that made me good at my job was also the thing that put me in the hospital. My issue wasn't the job, or the title, or the skill, or the drive. My self-belief was still two promotions behind.
I did the work. I got clear on what mattered. I stopped carrying what wasn't mine, and built a life of bold freedom.
And I coached over a thousand leaders through that same shift, from fearing they'd be replaced to saying no without a paragraph of explanation.
I went from first in, last out to a schedule built on my ideal week. I stopped overworking. I became the CEO of my own life, stopped running on fumes and felt free.
